For Hot Chocolate Mix:
- 1/2 cup Madhava Natural Sweeteners Organic Coconut Sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1.5 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, roughly chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/8 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 1/8 cup caramel pieces (chopped) store-bought or following my recipe below
For Homemade Caramels:
- 1 stick unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup Madhava Natural Sweeteners Organic Coconut Sugar
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
