- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce

- 3 cups old fashioned oats (not instant)
- 1/2 cup wheat germ
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
- 1/3 cup dried cranberries
- 1/3 cup dried blueberries
- 1/3 cup dried cherries
- 1/2 cup dried apricots
- 1/2 cup Madhava Natural Sweeteners Organic Coconut Sugar
- 1/2 cup Madhava Natural Sweeteners Organic Light Agave Nectar
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Combine applesauce, egg, oil, Madhava Organic Coconut Sugar, and Madhava Organic Agave Nectar. Add in oats, wheat germ and dried fruit. In a parchment lined 13×9 pan, press granola mixture down until flat.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes. Cool completely in pan. Once cooled, using parchment paper handles, remove from pan. Cut into 15, two inch squares and serve. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
- Optional Dark Chocolate Drizzle. Mix ¼ cup dark chocolate chips and 1 tablespoon milk in a bowl and microwave just until melted. Drizzle over cut bars and allow chocolate to harden prior to placing in airtight container.
- To make Granola Bars gluten free, swap regular oats with gluten free oats and omit the wheat germ. In the wheat germs place, grind ½ cup gluten free oats in coffee grinder to make oat flour. Combine all other ingredients and bake the same.
