Overview

You’ve baked homemade cookies for yourself and friends countless times, but what about your very best friend, your pup? Sure you could get a back of store-bought biscuits, but who knows how long they’ve been on the shelf, or what they’re really made with! Since it’s take-your-dog-to-the-park season, and we find ourselves wanting to treat our furry pals to something a little bit better, we whipped up a batch of these simple, 5-ingredient Blueberry Biscuit Dog Treats.

The ingredients are clean – so clean, in fact, that you can share them with your pet! Keep in mind that we didn’t include a lot of the ingredients you’d add for a batch of blueberry cookies being made for human consumption. So while they might not be your favorite, we guarantee your dog will go crazy for these treats! Plus, the benefits of raw organic honey – like the antioxidants, vitamins and minerals – are helpful for your pet in the same ways they’re helpful for you.

Directions
  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the water, eggs, and honey, whisking until thoroughly combined.
  3. Add flour to a medium mixing bowl, and slowly add the honey water mixture, gently stirring until a ball of dough forms.
  4. Pull off golf ball-sized pieces of dough, rolling between your hands to form balls, and arrange on the lined baking tray at least an inch apart. Gently press blueberries into the biscuits.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until lightly golden brown.
