Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup butter (softened)
  • 1/2 Cup Madhava Natural Sweeteners Organic Light Agave Nectar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  2. Combine flour, salt and baking soda in a medium bowl; set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat softened butter and Madhava Organic Agave Light together with an electric mixer until blended, scraping sides of bowl as needed. Beat in egg. Mix in vanilla. Gradually beat in dry ingredients.
  4. By hand, mix in chocolate chips.
  5. Using a 1-tablespoon size scoop, scoop cookie dough onto a baking sheet about 2 inches apart. Flatten scoops of dough; the paper wrapper from the butter held over the flat bottom of a glass works well.
  6. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until cookies start to turn golden brown. Remove from baking sheet and cool on a wire rack.
