Cinnamon Rolls With Organic Coconut Sugar

Ingredients:
  • 3 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1/3 cup Madhava Natural Sweeteners Organic Coconut Sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup raisins (optional)
  • 1/3 cup Madhava Natural Sweeteners Organic Pure & Raw Honey (optional)
  • 1 sweet roll dough

Directions
  1. Prepare dough as directed. When done rising for a second time, place dough on a lightly floured surface. Roll dough into a 1/2-inch thick rectangle.
  2. For filling, spread butter over surface of dough. Combine Madhava Organic Coconut Sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon and raisins (if desired) and sprinkle over butter. Carefully roll dough into a log, starting from the shortest end.
  3. Cut dough log into twelve 1-inch slices. Arrange slices, cut side down, in a well-greased 9×13-inch baking pan (for extra flavor, coat the pan with Madhava Organic Pure & Raw Honey after the oil/butter). Cover with a moist cloth and let stand 30 minutes to allow dough to rise again.
  4. When ready to bake, preheat oven to 350 degrees. Uncover and bake 20 minutes or until rolls are golden brown. If desired, top with Vanilla Buttercream Frosting.
